John Kaye MLC
John Kaye was elected as a Greens member of the NSW Legislative Council in March 2007. Before entering parliament, John taught and researched electrical engineering at the University of NSW where he specialised in sustainable energy and greenhouse issues. John obtained his PhD from the University of California Berkeley. Johnís portfolio areas include education, energy, treasury, fair trading, finance and services, water, hospitality, gaming and racing, and health.
Well known Broadcaster and Author
Brian Wilshire began his highly successful career at 2NZ in 1969. Brian is most well known for originating the much copied Midnight-Matchmaker, which ran from 1982 to 1991, and the whistle blowing on political and health matters which led to Senator Gareth Evans threatening a Parliamentary investigation of his radio show in 1988. Brian has also published four books. Brian writes ďIím writing a book dealing largely with Agenda 21 (sustainability) and I believe I could bring some useful ideas to the table.Ē
Mr Peter Brun
Mr. Peter Brun is a member of the H.S. Chapman Society and along with Dr. Amy McGrath (Editor Compiler of the book "Wolves in Sheep's Clothing") has an interest in Agenda 21.
